Working in experimental and improvised music for upwards of a decade, Eloise Duffy's manic project Shit Creek rarely settles long on a single sound palette. From violin tape loop hiss on early self-released CD-Rs (2017-2018); to psychedelic bricolage on The Land Of The Remember (Crow Versus Crow, 2020); to underwater dream-songs on The Strangest Part Of The Dream Is That The Water Was Alive (Ikuisuus, 2021); to glittering harmonium drone on Time Is The True River (Liquid Library, 2023).
Fresh off performing at Colour Out Of Space 9, she's currently blending recorded, found and sampled sounds into maximalist, joyful collages which poke at tensions between nature and artifice, sacred and absurd, desire and lack. Constantly falling over, shattering and reconstituting - a radiant absence, a reaching for a light.

Two people looking at screens and devices, plenty of cables. Anything could happen, what often does is strange in it's own pleasant way, deep pulses and rumbles alongside rank beats, all slathered over lush tones.
