November (2017) Film Screening + Director's Introduction with The Douglas Hyde

The Douglas Hyde are delighted to present a special screening of November (2017), presented in association with Edith Karlson's exhibition Well, well, well.

We are delighted to welcome Estonian film director Rainer Sarnet to introduce his 2017 folk horror film November. Adapted from Andrus Kivirähk’s novel, November is set in the 19th century in a small Estonian village plagued with spirits and fantastical creatures. Villagers are driven to pagan rituals and deals with the devil in order to try to survive the harsh winter.

Booking is free but spaces are limited. Please note this event will take place in the Robert Emmet Theatre, Arts Block, Trinity College Dublin.
