FSAS/Treignac Resident Artist Talk – Adam Stamp
Join us in conversation with Adam Stamp who is here with us as part of the FSAS/Treignac Collective Residency.
Adam Stamp will present a selection of excerpts from his upcoming book After Caravaggio. Part art history, part travelogue, the text tracks his decade-long journey to visit every painting by the celebrated and controversial Baroque painter, with meanders on contemporary pop culture, sex work, Cady Noland, and Rainer Werner Fassbinder. He will also present, at least in part, his ‘fresh’ (read as: working) chapter on Dublin’s Taking of Christ. Reading will be approximately 45 minutes, with 15 minutes of group discussion.
11 November, 5pm – 6pm.
The exchange supports an artist based in France selected by Treignac Project to live and work in FSAS for a one-month residency. This exchanged also supported Playbook/Cahier Collective to partake in a 10-to-14-day residency in August 2026 at the Treignac Project.
