DESCRIPTION:The House of Atreus* is a collaborative project by Emma Brennan
	 and Thomas Wells\nexploring how working class architecture reflects conte
	mporary social and moral\nsystems. This partnering of experiences intersec

	t of domestic and industrial spaces. \n\nDrawing on their collective socia
	l histories such as migrations of Irish workers\nacross UK industrial citi
	es\, the housing crisis\, tax incentives for tech giants\,\nthe post pande
	mic cost of living crisis and post Celtic Tiger recession\, the\nproject p
	ositions labour in all its forms as both subject and material. It\nengages
	 with hierarchies that continue to shape cultural value systems in\nIrelan
	d and the UK\, while situating the live body inside architectures of\ngend
